The Gift of Purity

Whatever is pure and lovely,
Noble and what is right.
I’ll think on these thoughts
As I am guided in His light.

I promise to guard my actions.
To myself, I  remain true.
Looking to God for guidance,
Choosing the right thing to do.

I promise to guard my heart.
I will not give it away.
For I am worth waiting for,
As I grow in grace each day.

I’ll hold on to these promises,
Until my heart he has won.
Keeping my gift just for him,
Until the two of us shall be one.
