I walked the stairway of life
Taking one step at a time.
Sometimes it was hard,
Sometimes I did fine.

My determination led me.
Love pushed me through.
But it was in God’s favor
My dreams came true.

His favor opened doors.
Opportunity came my way.
Blessings chased me down
And found a place in my day.

So walk in those blessings.
Don’t leave your dreams behind
Hope to the very end.
For divine favor you will find.
